Control laws for a motorized patient lift

We developed an adaptive admittance controller that provide the correct level of assistance, for moving the motorized lift, as a function of the force that the user is applying on the lift handle. We demonstrated that the system lead to lower levels of required user efforts, thus less risk of back injuries for the users.
